Elm & Ivy House Cleaners LLC (“we”, “us”) operates this website. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, email hello@elmandivycleaners.com and we will explain it plainly.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our quote or careers form we collect your name, email address, phone number, and whatever details you choose to include about your home or your work history. We ask only for what we need to give you an accurate quote or consider your application.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records standard server data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans from bots on our forms; it processes limited technical signals from your browser for that purpose alone.

We do not use advertising pixels, behavioural tracking, or third-party analytics that build a profile of you across sites. We do not set cookies for marketing purposes.

How we use it

• To prepare and send you a quote, and to schedule and deliver cleaning services.
• To reply to questions and to contact you about a booking.
• To consider your application if you apply for a role.
• To protect the site from spam and abuse.
• To meet our legal, tax and insurance obligations.

We will not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not send marketing email unless you have asked us to.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that make the site and our business work, and only to the extent they need it:

• Cloudflare: website hosting, security and bot protection.
• Resend: delivery of the email generated by our contact forms.
• Payment processors, accountants and insurers, where required for a booking or by law.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to protect the safety and rights of our clients, our team or the public.

How long we keep it

Quote enquiries are retained for up to two years so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Client service records are retained as long as you are a client and for seven years afterwards for tax and insurance purposes. Job applications are retained for one year unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your choices

You may ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@elmandivycleaners.com or call (555) 555-0142 and we will respond within 30 days. If you are a Connecticut resident, the Connecticut Data Privacy Act gives you these rights formally, including the right to appeal a refusal.

Security

Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and delivered directly to our inbox. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information (payment card numbers, government identifiers) through the website form.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the homepage for a reasonable period.
